What's it all for?
Understanding the different types of user available in the Eficia application allows you to assign the right levels of access to each according to their needs.
Some users can access all the organization's data and functionalities, while others have restricted read-only access to certain entities or functionalities.

Prerequisites
- You must be the organization'sAdministrator or a Editor to be able to manage user roles.
- You must have access to the Configuration > Users menu to view and modify users.

How does it work?
1. Administrator
This role does not appear in the add user modals, as it is automatically assigned to the organization's creator. The administrator can, however, assign his/her rights to another user.
This role gives full access to the organization, with all rights (read, edit, delete, advanced configuration). Unlike an editor, it can also permanently delete the organization.
2. Editor - park
The user can view and modify all organizational entities: sites, groups, users, organization.
The user does not have the right to delete the organization (unlike the administrator).

3. Player - park
The user can access all the organization's pages, but in read-only mode.
He cannot modify any data or parameters.

4. Player - groups
The user can access the organization pages associated with the selected groups, with the exception of the Users and Groups pages.
No changes can be made .

5. Player - sites
The user can access the organization pages associated with the selected sites, with the exception of the Users and Groups pages.

6. Player - groups (restricted)
The user can only view certain pages of the groups selected:
BMS access, Consumption, Indoor air, and Equipment.

7. Player - sites (restricted)
The user can only view certain pages of the sites selected:
GTB Access, Consumption, Indoor Air, and Equipment.

Attention:
- Some roles require manual association with sites or groups. If you forget this step, the user will not be able to access the expected pages.
Frequently asked questions 1. Can I combine several roles? No, a user can only have one role at a time. You need to choose the role best suited to your needs. 2. Can a user's role be modified after it has been added? Yes. From the *Configuration Users* page, you can modify the role and entities associated with an existing user.
